  • Condition: Vintage used condition with numerous small shallow dents and scrapes of the aluminum. Top is turquoise plastic and aluminum. There are 3 faint fine line cracks in the plastic and a dent with scratches on top of aluminum cap. Bottom original glass in very good shape with no chips, cracks or repairs.

    Description

    Here is a circa 1950's era Kromex round aluminum cover with aluminum and turquoise plastic lid/knob cake saver. The cover has numerous dents around the outside top edge. Three are about 1 3/4 inches long while the others are smaller single shallow dents. There are some more small dents on top of the cover along with some scratches, scrapes and other wear. No holes or repairs noted. The knob on top also has a dent in middle of the aluminum.  Its been well used but overall still looks fairly presentable. The turquoise plastic top portion has 3 faint hairline cracks. The glass bottom original cake plate appears in very good shape with no chips, cracks, haziness or repairs. The glass plate measures approx. 12 1/4 inches in diameter and stands on 3 small feet. The aluminum cover is about 11 1/2 inches in outside diameter at base. The cake saver is about 6 3/4 inches tall overall. Items are sold strictly " As Is ". No Returns Allowed.
