    Description

    Vintage Plymouth Beer Ball Tap Knob is from the Plymouth Brewing Company, Plymouth, WIS.  The brewery operated from approximately 1933 to 1938.  The painted metal insert is mounted in a bakelite/plastic Selmore knob.  NOTE:  The insert face is slightly worn as pictured.  The back of the knob where a rear insert is normally mounted has been filled in with what appears to be the same material (bakelite) as the knob.  It doesn't impact how the knob is displayed; however, I have never seen this in other Selmore knobs.  It is how I acquired the knob years ago.
