Vintage Native American Turquoise Pendant Brooch about 1950's floral design

This huge Vintage Native American design ( I was told it is Navajo) Turquoise and sterling (
SP 925 marked on tag) presumably reads as sterling silver plated Pendant Brooch 1940's-50's floral design but many others list SSP as the makers mark/signature of the piece. This is a large/deep/rich /vibrant blue stone and setting appears handmade with solder marks that are clearly visible, the Sterling Silver is possibly plated and the Pendant has a brooch conversion and Gorgeous Turquoise blue (obviously natural) stone. This  is a really nice statement Piece. Outstanding workmanship! I was told that it is in fact sterling silver when I bought it at a pawn shop in New York years ago but have not had it tested. I have left much of the original patina.
