Two Vintage Natural Wicker 61" And 41” Giraffe Planters.
An utterly charming vintage five-foot-tall and three-foot-tall wicker giraffe plant stands, originally produced in the 1960s and into the 1970s.
Exceptionally well-crafted of handwoven and shaped natural wicker that displays attractive subtle tonal variations acquired over time. Nearly the height of a newborn baby giraffe, with a delightfully long and slender neck. Face features a black lacquered nose and eyes, with upturned ears, skinny horns, and a slightly open mouth adding to its adorably expressive personality. Stands steady on knobby-kneed legs with black lacquered hooves. Whisk-like tail adds a whimsical touch at the rear.
Integrated inset plant holder in its back is approximately 5-to-5.5 inches in diameter and 4.5 inches deep.
