he Kirin depicted on this label is an ancient Chinese mythical creature that is the harbinger of good luck. Legend has it that when Confucius was born, a Kirin appeared before the eyes of his mother. Kirin Ichiban is the only beer produced using only the first press Wort using the Japanese shibori method producing the finest malt beer you can buy. Brand new, excellent condition. The Kirin soars thru the skies sharing his prosperity and good luck to all. The scaly body of a horse with long flowing beard and a single horn like the ones seen in a Chinese parade. The tap looks and feels like ceramic but it is most likely urethane.
