    Description

Earrings are one of the earliest forms of jewelry found in archaeological excavations in North America.  Historically, earrings have been worn by both sexes among the southwest native peoples.  Although Native American sterling silver jewelry wasn't introduced until the 1800's, it is now a hallmark of Native American jewelry.  The Navajo were the first tribe to incorporate silver into their jewelry.  Today, silver is one of the most recognizable aspects of Native American jewelry.
These earrings have stamp work in a traditional native design.  In the center and around the design is a sandy texture.  The beauty of sterling silver is, it can become dark and be brought back to a beautiful shine time after time with a soft polishing cloth.
Never out of style, Southwest jewelry is an investment in enjoyment to last a lifetime.
