HOBGOBLIN draft beer tap handle. Since 1983. Wychwood Brewery, Oxfordshire, England. In 1990 the name replaced the old Eagle brewery as it was located in Whitney next to Wychwood Forest. Purchased outright by Marston's in 2008. Inspired by myths and legends of the ancient Wychwood forest. Brown ale. Referred to as Ruby Beer. 4.5%ABV. Chocolate and Crystal chocolate malts with Fuggles, Styrian and Golding hops. Rich with strong notes of toffee and dark fruits. Delicious. See my other listing for the can. I love this tap. Looks like the Goblin has lost his bow but still has a sack full of arrows. No more fighting from a distance. He will now have to use his giant hatchet to slay the rodents and underlings. He is seen emerging from the trunk of an ancient enchanted tree form the Wychwood forest. Carved with brewery name and date. Super cool design. Heavy. It has been used for display purposes only and has not poured a beer. Excellent like new condition with no issues. Great collectors piece. 10-1/2 inches tall.
