Whiting Sterling Silver Ruby Glass Blown In Silver Salt & Pepper Shaker 3655
Presented is a beautiful set of salt & pepper shaker casters hallmarked for silver by Gorham Whiting with a product or style number of 3655. These beautiful pieces have a great cutout or pierced scroll trellis design with Ruby glass that is blown into silver filling the crevasses and holes to bulge out ever so slightly lending to an irresistible delicate Neo-classic trellised style stryking. They have slip off lids with a small pedestal base. They have no monogram, no dents or dings, the lid of one is unmovable and there is a missing pane as well as some minor flaking of glass from various cells in the glass around the side of the casters, and only some fine scratches from gentle use and care with a scratched identity mark on the bottom next to hallmarks. These are fascinating pieces with an elegant profile and a great item for the silver collector.
