Charming sterling silver American Colonial-style miniature porringer open salt dish and pepperette in the form of a miniature mug or cann when the slip fit cap is off.  The pair weighs 2.1 troy ounces, and the salt dish measures 2 inches in diameter and the tab handle 7/8 inch by 7/8 inch and 3/4 inch high, and the pepperette measures 2 1/2 inches high and 1 3/8 inches in diameter at the base.  Marked on the base of the pepperette "Sterling 582" and Lunt's trademark, and on the back of the tab handle on the salt dish "Sterling 581" and Lunt's trademark.  There are tiny nicks and very fine scratches overall on both pieces, and some rippling and tiny grey spots in the salt dish and about ten 1/16 inch dings on the outside body of the salt dish, otherwise in good condition.
