Antique Cranberry English Salt "Shaker" with Silver Pouring Spout.
A beautiful cranberry color "salt", with 10 panels... which are polished, with silver hallmarked pouring spout, by unknown, c. 1880, English. This wonderful salt has a polished bottom with silver hallmarked pouring spout.  The piece is 4 inches tall and 1.5 inches wide at the base. We were told it was used to pour the salt onto your plate and dip the vegetables in the salt.  What do you think? A fantastic old piece you need in your collection!
