Antique Barrel Spigot Tap Handle / Spout / Bung - For Beer Whiskey Barrel? 1800s

Description

This is a very nice original 19th-century wood and pewter beer or whiskey barrel spigot. It is in very nice condition. The part that fits into the barrel measures 7" long x 1-3/8" in diameter at the thickest. The knob part is wood with an iron screw and looks to be a pewter insert. Inside that is a wood insert. It fits perfectly and seals very nice. This was probably for a little bit smaller size beer / whiskey barrel. Came from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. See my eBay for another larger all-wood spigot.
