Antique Asahi Shoten Japanese Sterling Kasuga Doro Lantern Salt & Pepper Shakers

Description

Amazing early 1900s sterling silver Kasuga Doro (stone lantern) salt and pepper shakers.  Made by Asahi Shoten with mark on base.  I polished these briefly with a polishing cloth but more care can be taken to really make them shine.  They are in very good condition with some overall minor superficial scratches due to age.  The most visible scratches are on the bottom of one of the salt and pepper shakers and are shown in the photos.
