ANHEUSER BUSCH TARPON SPOON beer tap handle. St. Louis, Missouri.
Bohemian Pilsner.
5.5%ABV. 2005-2006 Specialty Program of Anheuser Busch. A.B. was trying to keep up with the craft beer scene that was soon blowing them away.
This specialty beer was crafted by a small, hand-picked group of beer experts at Anheuser-Busch's Jacksonville, Fla., brewery. The group chose the beer style, created the recipe and selected Tarpon Spoon's name and tap marker design.
Brewed specifically for Floridians.
There are about 12 specialty handles created during this time. All retired. Skipjack, MuleKick, Scarecrow, Faust, Hop Hound, Demon's Hopyard and a Snowman to name a few. All Retired. Handle is new and in excellent condition as seen. Just in time for fishing season. The spoon is the shiny part of the lure that gets the fishes biting. Semi-hand crafted. Tiny bubbles under the chin can be seen in the photo. It is common in some of these lightweight molds. Beautiful design. Rare. Just over 9 inches. Don't throw this beauty back in.
