    Description

ABITA PURPLE HAZE RASPBERRY LAGER LAVA LAMP. Abita Springs, Louisiana. Brewed in Abita Springs, Louisiana
. Just 30 miles North of New Orleans, founded in 1986.
Created to celebrate the way they live in New Orleans. 1970'S Lava Lamp. Originally invented in 1963. Brand new in original box. Excellent condition. Very small scratch seen on base side from where plug was rubbing during original shipping. Instructions included. Lamp bulb included. Power cord has thumb button on/off switch.
    Used for testing 4 hours.
Took a few hours longer than stated to achieve full effect. When warmed for a few hours the darker purple hazy substance residing at the bottom (paraffin wax, oil and carbon tetrachloride mix) will start to soften and parts will break off and begin to rise through the clear blue liquid and make their way to the top. Very cool. When the blobs at the top build up and begin to cool slightly, they will again fall in clumps while the egg like spheres begin to form at the bottom and rise again in almost continuous slow motion action. Super cool stoner effect. A flash from the past. Very rare. Over 15 Plus inches tall. Lamp has been turned and rotated so that most sides are shown.
